Hello, We're I Dress Myself

Here at I Dress Myself, we’ve been advocating sustainable print and re-inventing the garment decoration industry since 2006.

Working with eco-friendly materials isn’t just one service that we offer, sustainability has been hard-baked into everything we do. It always has been and it always will be - we’ve lodged bespoke Articles at Companies House to ensure that sustainability will always be a priority for I Dress Myself.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We collaborate with clients.

Working with people who understand and share our values, we ensure garment sourcing, design and the processes used to decorate garments are thought out with the environment placed at the forefront of every decision made. We consult, create, and continue to push for a more sustainable approach to decoration.

All of our services can be GOTS-certified; screen printing, DTG printing, DTF printing, eco-embroidery and re-labelling. We only offer organic cotton and recycled garments.

how DO WE DO it?

We do it differently to others - that's just how we do it.

We’ve been printing with water based inks way before it was considered cool, all our embroidery is plastic free (including the backing AND the bobbins) and we have a zero garment waste and a zero to landfill policy.

Working closely with clients through consultancy and communication, our considered processes deliver the highest quality decoration without compromise.

why DO WE DO it?

Someone’s got to.

By holding ourselves accountable for the small stuff like reusing materials, repurposing garments and composting inhouse, as well as remaining transparent about the big stuff like our garment suppliers and aims for a carbon NEGATIVE business, we create an honest approach to garment decoration.

We believe that traditional processes like print and embroidery have a place in a greener future without creative limitation and businesses should have access to services which push for this.

RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR ENGLAND (rDPE) FUNDING

We are happy to have been awarded funding by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development for our 'Eco-Embroidery' project. The grant is towards our six-head state-of-the-art embroidery machine as well as for a couple of other pieces of equipment to help us improve our production efficiency. This EU funding helped us to create an additional three full time jobs.
